i have recently changed my isp and router, this was fine as far as file sharing went, until i had problems elsewhere on my pc which required me to reinstall xp. Then however i found that next time i went to watch a file from my pc on the xbox, it was asking me for a username and password. has anyone got any idea what these are or where to get them from as i have tried all my log on passwords and not getting anywhere. please help me
after re-installing Windows. Did you also go back and use the network wizard and set up a network? And did you enable connection sharing? And did you also set the folder (or drive) so that it is shared on the network?
