Hello, I would like to convert my divx/xvid movie collection to xbox 360 compatible h.264 mp4, but no matter what I do, it doesn't work. This is my latest attempt with mencoder: mencoder movie.avi -o movie.mp4 -oac faac -faacopts br=128:mpeg=4bject=1 -ovc x264 -x264encopts threads=4:bitrate=1000ass=2 Any ideas? Thanks
well, i know for fact Master converter makes good mp4 converts, so does IMTOO products i can also tell you Itunes has a free mp4 converter built in, it might format small though just for ipod size, try to get a converter just for what your doing, that will play it in the right size, pleasz give us more detail on your issue, if you were clearer i could help better cheers
What I need to do is a conversion in linux, so I was thinking mencoder might be a good tool to use. Does anyone have any experience with h.264 conversions in linux?
