Good POT Value? Is 165 safe?

Ok, I have my gamecube's POT at 165 only becuase its really old and wont run anything anymore. Is this safe? Will it hurt my games or my cube?

Should I try it at a higher value just to be safe?

Im 90% sure that 165 is just fine, and it wont harm the cube at all. I have myself it at same kind of values.
But every laser is different, but not much.
