can,t burn

    i can,t burn dvd+r on my lite -on dvdrw sohw 812s does anybody know where i can get free firmware upgrade

    ok, i upgrade yesterday with DR8USOS but today it only reads cd, i uninstall the dvd dive and reinstalled it but not not i short of a dvd rw HHHHHEEELLLPPP

    try crossflashing it with patched 832S firmware. you can find some patched f/w here you will need to use one of these:

    VS0M - patched - crossflashing (for 451S, 851S, 812S, etc.)

    CG5M - patched - improved burn quality (for 451S, 851S, 812S, 832S, Sony 700A, etc.)
