    Yes you can, I have one that I had unlocked. I was unable to figure out how using google so I took it into a shop that specialized in that. It only cost me $15. Any phone repair store in your area should be able to unlock it for you. I got mine though T-Mobile, then moved to an area where T-Mobile did not provide service, so now I'm using Cingular/AT&T Wirelss.
