Nero Vision 4 is shorting .m2v

Created an .m2v still of 200 frames, 29.97 around 6 seconds.
Used it in a DVD compilation between two clips.
The Nero simulation for the .m2v lasted ~ 1 second.
Burned the disk and the VOB was the same.

The VOB reports as 38 frames 1.2 seconds, so I know why it's too short.

If I convert the .m2v to .mpeg, there is no problem.It's the full 6 seconds (196 frames).

If I only use the .m2v (alone) the problem persists.

Note:As a test, I demuxed a video clip and used the .m2v, there was no problem.
Is it because the first clip is a still?
