I have used Nero and Shrink for a long time and the last couple of days have been getting burning errors. I have uninstalled both and re-installed but still wont burn. I am using Fuji and have never had a problem in the past. Help Please... The burn is proceeding normally until the burner's laser can no longer follow the track in the blank DVD. HP lists the current firmware as HI24, Nero is showing yours as ED24. Try a firmware update: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...scription.jsp?lang=en&cc=US&swItem=pv-42566-1 Try some different media. You may have a bad blank. Try Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

I updated my firmware like you guys suggested and it worked for one dvd, then burn errors again. So I switched from Fuji to Memorex and still get burn errors. I dont understand, I have used Nero/Shrink for a long time now, with Fujis and all of a sudden this is happening. What am I doing wrong? Forgot to mention....My secondary IDE Channel keeps changing itself from DMA to PIO by itself. I have to keep changing it back. Why is it doing this? Thanks!
These are horrible discs, try verbatim or Sony (made in Japan)....this is all I can see wrong with the log......you MUST use good quality media.
