1. You need a soundcard, decent cables and such 2. If you have a SoundBlaster card, simply plug the tape player into the LineIN/Mic jack and use the Recorder feature. You can do something similar to this with Windows Sound Recorder but the SoundBlaster one is much easier to use and much more effective. 3. I'm sure with a little effort you can google up a match for RadioRipper or something along those lines.
