Xboxdash.xbe Problem Need to connect to Xbox HD

I don't know if this the right forum but heres my problem i was messing with my modded xbox and i killed the xboxdash.xbe. I have an copy of it on my :E drive of the xbox but i cant seem to unlock the hd so i can't open it with my computer does any one how to unlock it.

Can i still run boot disks even tho my xboxdash.xbe is corrupted.

I get the error message 14

Just need to access the hd

 

you can either use your eeprom to unlock it with xboxhdm or do a hotswap.

 

did u hotswap at xbox bios screen or what

do u do it when the computer is on

I used Fatxplorer does this mean my xbox hd is unlocked

I still cant get into HD



Program crashes after i press ok

so how do i get in my xbox ST310014A Hard Drive i see it in device manger and no other program besides fatxplorer sees it i think its unlocked but im not sure and if it is how do i get into it.

Help Please



i got this program to say the same thing even tho its not English so i think that means my hd is unlocked but it crashes when i press ok liek the other program. so what is this \\.\Physicaldrive1

I'm think i might have to set my jumpers to something else does anyone know what jumpers.

 

Software like the one you are using does not always detect the drive properly while running windows on depending on your pc. Try using xplorer360 see if that works. You should be attempting to fix the problem using Xboxhdm v1.9 running a lunix iso, create one using C and E along with your eeprom. Run the lunix explorer and replace the file. cakes227 posted the link follow that tutorial. Remember to always reconnect the drive before you power down.

ok i finally got my xbox to working condition so ty for your guys help all i had outdated programs that was my problem
