OK ^_^ First of all, let me tell you ppl that all the parts in my PC is 3 years old @_@ Also, I have a problem with my HDD !! *_* At first, Windows used to boot up fast, I think it sued to juz take 2 - 3 mins ^_^ But now, it's taking too much time to boot up !! (Around 5 - 7 mins) Also, sometimes, we can hear a "tone" sound coming from the hard-drive !! @_@ Is there any solution to this ?? @_@ Please Help ^_^
would suggest another hd as your's might be dying. download from your hd manufacturer their diagnostic software to test out your drive.
Backup your data, if you have a windows CD, format your HDD. Re-Install windows. If this doesn't help, there is something wrong with your HDD. If I had your slow startup, this is what I would do, but I have no-idea about the 'tone.'
