Sorry I double posted this I acciden't placed this question in a diferent thread and couldn't delete it.
Maybe someone here can better explain to me the disable and restore procedure. I have a Wiid chip and while it seems to be working I'm curious to be sure that all the features are up to par. The Wiid website need some serious updating in my opinion as most of their information is very vague. It says to hold the reset button and the power button for 3 seconds to disable the chip completely. Is that three seconds from the momment I hit the power button or three seconds from another point like the wii menu same goes for the firmware rollback? I tried to disable the chip based on whats said on the wiid site which also indicates upon restart that the chip will resume normal functionality. But when I put in a backed up disk it didnt' work as expected but after reboot it still din't work. so i figured i must have set the chip back to default requireing me to reinstall the firm ware but even after that my backups wouldn't work. Then it froze and i needed to unplug it for it to shut off and when it booted I was able to play the backups.
Any ideas on this would greatly be appreciated.

It clearly says to...
Hold the reset button down. Then turn the WIi on while still holding the button down and then release after 3 seconds.
To reset to the default firmware on the WiiD hold the reset button down then turn on and release the reset button after holding it for 15 seconds.
So I would assume since you hold the reset button down before turning it on the 3 seconds would start once you hot the power button.
In order for the above to work you need to have the D wire soldered for these features.

Yeah I figured as much..... Doesn't matter now though I got home yesterday after staying up until 2 in the morning the night before just to get it to work and it was working at 2 am but by the time i got home it wasn't working anymore so i reopened it and then proceeded to brick it...... My only hope now is that the store i bought it at has another one so they can honor my warranty.. If not i'm going to have to figure out how to unbridge a b c connections.. damn thing is soo small I can't tell if there is any reidue still attatched..... Next time i will send it out that is if i get one that does not have the legs cut.
