SECAM AND PAL

    If I create a PAL DVD to be broadcast in a country the uses the SECAM broadcast standard,
    will the disc be able to play properly?

    Yes. PAL and Secam are similar, same resolution and framerate. Secam deals with the color very differently though.

    But, all modern DVD players/TV's in France, or other Secam countries, will handle PAL DVD's without a problem. Amazon.fr sell's it's DVD's in PAL.
