   I tried to burn a CD of dance songs for my hiphop class, and it will not burn. It starts burning, and seems to be fine, but then comes up error : "calibration area full" and stops burning. I have tried everything. The CD is empty. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

   1. What make model of burner do you have?
   2. Do you sometimes get power-calibration errors?
   3. Try writing to and/or erasing from a CDRW. If it fails...
   In either case, i think your burner may be toasted.
