It looks like i have an original box and not a clone but still im struggling,

I have tryied to follow all precedures as per forums (probably missed the important info)

Any help or advice would be appreciated,

Did you unzip the file before you tried to use it.

The GTROM software defaults to COM1, try changing it to COM2, the most likely alternative. If that fails, try COM3 and COM4, but it's unlikely to be either of those.

I have tried all that already and still am having no luck, i now am starting to think its something to do with my installation as i dont think the computer and the lead are commuticating with each other.

Any ideas on how to get the drivers/software for the rs 232 lead to work ?

On device manager it comes up with a yellow warning/signal which basically tells me its not full installed properly,

Please help help help

I have come to the conclusion i need to sort this out on a pc....I have another question....

At present i am running software 2.57 but have the update 3.00 available. I hav'nt had problems with my boxes 4 around 8 days but still unsure whether to update as i have read about a few problems with freezing etc....

Could anyone clarify what i should do as im unsure where to go from here...

Is there another update avalable ?

Thanks
