I bought the new version of NERO 6 and when i try to burn a 79 min cue file it says there is not enough room on the disk(ive tried using the over burner and i dont know what else to try). I know its a prob with Nero 6 because i uninstalled it and the reinstalled Nero 5 and it works fine. Has any one else been having the same problem because i contacted Nero and they say they cant help?
Hi, I'm having a quite similair problem too. I've thought it was something wrong with my pc but now I've read your post I know it can't be. I used to burn with the 5....version but switched to 6.0 but I notice I'm having problems with overburning cds. It used to be I can overburn a cd with up to 3 minutes more, but now it's already having difficulties if i want to overburn 1 minute. I've used different brands of cdrs so that could not be the problem. I've set the overburn option already to 83 minutes but no result. But the weird thing is I've burnt a few cds that nero says 'errors' but I haven't discovered any problems yet playing these discs. Both the vcd and the data works. I think I go back to the old versions though 6.0 performs better than the old version I was using.
You need to grab either the Issue 5203 Patch if you are running either Nero 5.5.10.50 or 6.0.0.15. If not, just upgrade to 6.0.0.19. The patch addesses the lack of overburning support present in Nero 5.5.10.50 or Nero 6.0.0.15. All other versions of Nero are supposedly overburning friendly._X_X_X_X_X_[small]ASUS A7V8X-X, AMD2500+ Samsung 1024MB, PC2700 360GB [3x120GB, 7200, 8MB] MSI Starforce, GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB AFTERDAWN IRC: irc.emule-project.net, #ad_buddies COME SAY HI![/small]
