I try installing Alcohol 120% and I get this message: ---------------------------------------- The software you are installing for the hardware: SOJU SCSI Controller has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. ---------------------------------------- It goes on about saying how windows stongly recommends not installing this software blah blah blah. So, ignoring Microsoft's word (like I usually do) I contiue to install. But I keep having problems installing. BTW, I have a Lite-On 48x24x28 cd-rw.
1. A lot of the time SCSI controllers (and virtual scsi controllers) are really friggen picky with IRQ and such. 2. What other devices do you have on your computer? 3. Are there any specific SCSI drivers that ship with the drive? What about the WindowXP drivers?
