Have a new computer and no winzip. Anyone know of a free zip program. Winzip says it is only free for 45 days.
    Thank, Kathy

WinRAR, whether from Filehippo or RARlabs directly, is a trial version too. 30 days, which is less than WinZip.

    There is a free archiver/unarchiver called 7-Zip

    get it here

oops sorry. i use winRAR and cant ever remember having to register or anything. i thought it was free (atleast at some level) forever. guess i was mistaken. well anyway, if you are using vista then i know for a fact that the latest version of WinRAR is fully functioning with Vista so that might be something to look at since you are saying it is a new computer. sorry again

yeah, i would say WinRAR. It will extract just about every kind of file. Just un-check the .iso box or things will get confusing. hehe.
