Pretty basic. I am just wondering whether there is a USB or fire wire device that will track GPS signals, and display on a mac book screen? Hopefully that makes sense. But Basically, I want to use my mac book as a GPS system, instead of a lil tiny screen.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank You

Thanks for informing me how to buy a car, however that doesnt answer my question. Yes I own a car, and I intend on owning it for a few years. No it is not new, so No it doesnt have a GPS. I was going to install one, but then realized that those screens are fairly tiny. Thus I was wondering if you can convert a macbook into a GPS.

You can get just a generic Bluetooth GPS receiver.. The apple blutooth manager wont regonize it but if you also get yourself a copy of Rout 66 you will be fine!
