I Followed your instructions to make divX movies,and I got two AVI Files(Blabla-firstpass.avi and blabla-secondpass.avi).The proble is that I can't scroll to the middle of the Movie.When I wish to play the film from the middle it always draws me back to the same frame(almost near the movie start).Please Help me.
It would help if you could describe exactly what process you took and what options you chose, and what guide you used. I used the 16:9 guide here at afterdawn for my very first rip and I havent come across your particular problem. Try doing this to fix up your problem: VirtualDub or Virtualdubmod: File--->Open. Select Box that says, "Popup extended options" Select your movie and open it. A dialog box should come up; select rederive keyframe flags and click ok. Select Direct Stream Copy in the Video menu. Save avi.
