I was wondering how I could use a .bin file created with Nero to create a backup CD... any help would be appreciated!!!
Well JKA is a protected game and apparently depending on where you are from, uses different protection schemes. For steps for burning SafeDisc2 see http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/23699 For information on how to Burn SecuROM and in particular, SecuROM 4.83: (using Alcohol120) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/43802 (using CloneCD) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/26771
I've tried that but it doesn't work for whatever reason. I can't select the .bin file to use when I'm making the ccd image.
1) Legal copy of Jedi Academy? 2) Internet download? 3) Nero can't backup the SecuROM "play" cd Shoey
And to access BIN in nero: 1. Open Nero 2. CLose the damn New COmpilation dialog box 3. Recorder -- Burn IMage 4. Change the file type to All Files (*.*) 5. Select the BIN 6. Click OK for the Foreign Image Settings (usually defaults work) 7. Burn per usual And......... 1. If you pirated the game.... we dont want to nor care to know 2. Nero can't burn game images worth shit 3. Also, depending on where you are from the game is SafeDisc 2.90.... which, Nero cant burn
