I have a T509 and T629 and use bluetooth to add music and such to them with no problem . Well the first and foremost buy a blue tooth dongle, install the software that came with it . The software will create a new folder called "Bluetooth Exchange Folder" usually in My Documents . This is where you put things you want to browse from the phone so you can choose what to send to the phone . Of course you can always just right click on an item and choose send to ,t 629 or whatever the phone is . Then plug in the dongle, right click on the icon in the taskbar it should be blue with red in the middle the middle will turn white when activated . You have to use the setup wizard to discover new devices this is from the computer it's pretty straight foward and simple to follow and only needs to be done once . Once that is done and the computer sees your phone go to the phone find bluetooth ,visibility set to on now go to devices search new device press ok . If all is well you should see the Exchange folder i spoke of earlier it will be empty . So now you can put things in this folder browse from the phone and send things you want , or from the computer right click choose bluetooth and send to your phone . Hope this helps .
Good to be a part of this community! Anyways, here's my dillema; I can't connect my T509 phone to the dongle. I'm using Bluesoleil software, which detects an old V3 I have laying around. What's funny is that the T509 finds the V3 but the V3 CANNOT find the T509!!! And I have all functions active. I have my Bluetooth on and my Visible option is on too! Why does it not work??? Phil
!UPDATE! THAT WAS FUNNY! I just got off the phone with T-Mo and after going through at least 6 or 7 people, they told me that the T509 CANNOT connect to a bluetooth. Only IR or Cable. Anyways,, so much for help on that part... Phil
