    Hey all,

Ok, for example (from what I've learned) the highest jpeg quality is 12. What is the highest bitmap quality?

Bitmaps are not like jpegs. A jpeg can be compressed to different levels, that is what the different "quality numbers" mean. It is more usual to talk about percentage quality. 90% is good for printing, 50% is OK for websites, etc. 10% looks very bad.

On the other hand, bitmaps are always at top quality. That is why they are so much bigger than jpegs.
