Hi
I tried used TMPgenc to encode a couple of movies -AVI files. both output files had video but no audio.
Gspot says the audio is: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3

then tried to save the wav file from Virtualdub in full processing mode, but it says there is no audio decompressor could be fould to compressed sound to decompress the audio source.
any ideas how i can encode/burn this to cd?
thanks

What about when you play the movie? Is there sound then?

This is Probably because the Audio is VBR Mp3 which TMPGEnc does not support and is being used quite a Lot with a lot of movies on the net..The solution is to extract the audio to Wav format with something like Virtual Dub and then use the wav file as the audio source in TMPGEnc.....Cheers
