HARD DRIVE NOT DETECTED

    I have recently purchased a Maxtor 120G hard drive. Problem is that sometimes my Windows Vista "sometimes" will recognize and sometimes will NOT detect the hard drive. I can also connect the hard drive using the USB hook up on my high defenition TV and sometimes it will detect it as well. Does anybody knows what I can do to fix this problem? I would appreciate a response from somebody who has gotten this problem. Thank you in advanced.
