    FILE
    BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

I burned an image from an .img file using this .CUE file. I've not had any probs with this .CUE file in the past.

Both Alcohol120% and Nero Burning indicated a good burn but something is wrong.
When I open the CD in Explorer I see nothing at all and, the [bold]700 MB [/bold]CD-R disk now says:

    [bold]Free Space: 306 MB
    Total Size: 306 MB[/bold]

What happened to the missing 400 MB?

Also, I can not access the CD from a command prompt, I get the error below:

    .

I loaded .bin into Alcohol120% virtual drive
    ok but got
error when opening in My Computer.

From what I've read here I shouldn't need any file other than the .CUE and .img files.

Obviously the .img file IS being burned. What could be wrong? I'm having this prob with 2 seperate .img files.

    Thanks,
    Theyer

When you used Nero and Alcohol 120%, did you load the cue file and burn?

Why would IMG files have CUEs? CUE files are for BIN files only....

However for simplicity sake you can convert the IMG file ot a BIN/CUE. First drag-and-dropping the IMG file onto CDMage. It will popup a dialog box asking you to specify the interpretation format. Trial and error will get one to to successfully open the image. Once it is opened, File --> Save As and give it a new name. CDMage will resave the BIN file but now also include a CUE file to go with it.
