I have a few questions on packet-writing and hope some of you can help me ; 1) Is there a difference in packet-writing to cd-r and cd-rw in terms of durability? I know cd-rw can be rewritten about a 1000 times before they give up on you but can they be used for long term archive purposes like the cd-r. I want to keep an photo-album and I want to be able to save one or two maybe ten pictures a day on my cd (growing baby you see) and not be bothered to start multiple sessions each time I want to save a pic. I'm also thinking of using p-w to store my articles and e-mails. In short to save anything interesting on a daily base and really use my cd as a floppy and be able to take it along on the road with my laptop. 2) Which program is better diretcd from roxio or Incd from Nero?
I would reccommend you go with Nero... i've never had anything but problems with Roxio stuff. For what you do, you might benifit from having a multisession DataCD insetad of a Packet CD
