hi i was wondering which program i can use for ripping and burning dvds. i was wondering if DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0 or alcohol can burn DL without a problem. if someone could let me know i'd really appreciate it.

For burning dual layer I would use the updated burning program of decrypter - ImgBurn.
You can rip the movie in iso mod w/ decrypter then open the .mds file in ImgBurn to burn.

For the movies that decrypter can't handle the copy protection use DVDFab HD Decrypter.
You can rip and save an iso to your hard drive then open that in ImgBurn.
Or if you don't save it as an iso just use the build mode to add the video_ts folder to burn.

i tried burning it in dvd decryptor but durring the verify phase i got a read error will imgburn fix this problem?

Might not - that could be caused by a few things so let's check a few.
What's the make & model of the drive? Firmware up to date?

What burn speed are you using?

What brand of dual layer media are you using?

I got the same error with img burn ill include a link to the picture the media im using is memorex 2.4x

btw it stops at 42% verifying

Do the discs still play? They might even though the verification failed.

I'd switch the discs you're using too - use Verbatim only for dual layer discs.

You can also check the laptop manufacturers drive and see if there are any firmware updates available.
