Help. My computer wont start up.

    Yesterday the only thing i installed on my computer was AVG 7.5 30-Day Trial. After installing, it said i had to restart the computer to complete the install. So i did. Computer rebooted fine, worked fine. I shut down the computer when i went to bed. This morning, i turned on the computer and it got stuck on the "Windows is starting up..." [thats right before you choose your log in name].

    Is there anything i can do? Can i somehow system restore to the point before i installed AVG 7.5? Can the problem be fixed without losing anything?

    Try starting it in Safe Mode. If it boots up, you can restore to a previous point.

    i did the safe mode, then restore.

    thanks.

    and i already had the free edition i just was trying the 7.5
