Ok I live in a little apartment and want to get surround sound. Nothing to blow our front door off but I want the sound effects all the way around the room not just from the TV. I want speakers behind us and on the side. I have no idea on what to buy or anything. Is there any ideas on a system that is very cheap but will still improve sound quality a little. I need to know everything because I don't know about the components or anything. Thank you guys so much.
If I were you, being in a small apt, I would just buy the cheapest stereo/speaker combo that was available. There's plenty of JVC/SANYO combo units around that sound good. When you get your own place in the future, then upgrade to the quality stuff.
