    How do I add subtitles to a movies and then burn it to a DVD?

    The cheapest is to use VirtualDub to add permanent subs to an AVI then author the file to DVD.
    The easiest is ConvertXtoDVD - but it's not free.
    You have to supply the subtitles, either create them yourself or download: http://divxsubtitles.net/page_subtitleinformation.php?ID=61385
