please can someone help me. my xbox boots up with three half green and red lights no audio or video and the disc tray wont open. i have a solderless xecuter chip. whats the prob and what can i do to fix it?
no luck. im still having the same issues. it used to work. ive been playing backup, emulators and watching tv shows on it for about 6 months and it just start doing this all of a sudden and thanks i appreciate the help
Ok, without the chip, describe EXACTLY what it does when it's turned on. I'm a little confused by the "three half green and red lights" comment...
im having the same prob with and without the chip. when it turns on the fans spins and half of the power light is reen and the other half is red .when i press the power button the light comes on and it sound like evrything inside of the xbox is trying to start operating but it stops soons as the light blinks off. the light blinks on and off three times and the final times the xbox doesnt shutoff, the fan just spins and the light blinks repeatedly
Sounds a bit like 'Xmas Lights'. Normally a modchip fixes this, however it seems your modchip caused it!
