Hi all, I searched through the stickys and didnt really find a good answer to my question. My question is that I used an older version of nero before upgrading to nero 6. Anyhow, I used to be able to burn up to about 703 mb of files onto my cd-rs without the program giving me an error saying that the disc is not big enough. I've been using the same cd-rs (maxell 40x)as last time and it seems that the nero isnt letting me do overburn even if I set the limit a little higher in the EXPERT tab in Preferences. I know these cd-rs can handle it cuz its the same ones i used to burn my previous files. Anyone know what gives? Burner is the same too, a TDK 52x burner. Thanks for any tips or suggestions. Mike
Nero 6.0015 has confirmed overbunring issues (i.e., lack of overburning support). Either drop back to 6.0011, update to 6.0019 or if you have the time and really like 6.0015 then look for the Issue 5203 patch.
Thanks, i was just searching the wrong phrases/words for the answer. Found the patch and now its all fixed! Thanks again.
Just be sure that you enable overburn using Nero 6.x m8. File>preferances>expert features>enable overburn>change 82 to 90>click apply>ok>close.
