I have been using Nero 6 without a hitch...until I used the dvd copy function.
The process was succesful HOWEVER I have lost 4gb of hd space. I am running xp pro and I can not fine the .nrg files anyway on my hard drive?(I chose the default folder for nero to store the image, then I made a new folder and repeated the process...this folder shows as being empty, but I have lost another 4gb!!!!) Any ideas anyone?
    Thanks

If you have Norton AV installed, empty your trash bin then right click/properties/norton protection tab/empty protected files/purge all files._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Just another lonely Hawaiian with:

What happened to me was that I have been using Nero without a problem until I wanted to do a dvd copy. This worked great but the space used to create the image on my hard drive could not be found to delete.Once I purged the Norton protected area of my recycle bin Hey Presto!
I never would have thought of that...Thanks again Cheezzz...you saved me a lot more time!

I dont think Nero is causing this behavior. It happens everytime you put something in the temp files or any drive partition using dvd burning software. Nothing to worry about.
