Nokia Dbox Novice - help if poss

Hi there, i know this is a question asked before, but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Have bought a Dbox2 and scanned for channels and am getting the message transponder error, I realise there may be things i need to do from my pc to get it working properly. I only have an apple mac which i presume will not be compatible, I can get a mates pc laptop though if need be. So aif anyone can direct me as how to get started, thanks?

 

Get the lappy and enthernet cross over cable
Ile supply the rest ...............Paul
