Shrink / Laserdisc's

#1 19 Jul 2007 @ 8:55
If this is in the wrong Forum I apologize

I have a few Laser Discs I need to put on a DVD.
I have a few 5 disc collections “Looney Tunes” that need to be put on DVD. My Dilemma is how do I encode them together to place on a Dual Layer DVD, I will have to encode 10 sides.

Can I encode multiple discs to the same folder?

Will I need to remove any files before Burning?

And can I encode them using a dazzle capture setup?

Are Laser Discs same format as DVD’S?

I have done quite a few DVD’s using Shrink and ImgBurn on Dual Layer with a 100% success rate thus far.

Have you tried a search on Episodal or Episodic burning?

Try THIS as a starter The more you search, the more you'll find. :)

I found the following info

“Just rip the entire DVD to your hard-drive, use IFOEdit to remove any audio or subtitle streams that you don't need, and then run DVD2One (in full disc mode) to compress it to one disc.”

How do I know what to keep and what to trash when combining multiple discs?

I know how to get rid of subtitles and unwanted audio , is there anything else I should delete.

Wont multiple discs have the same file names and overwrite each other with each new disc encoded??
