ive got an usb all in one card reader,had no problems when i plug it in the usb,been able to read off sd cards,but now when i plug it in the usb and i go to (my computer) to open the file the pc is freezing for couple seconds then all screen icons dissapear then come back on but i cannot get into card reader? card reader works on other pc,usb works ok with flash drives,im running xp any help cheers
uninstall all usb ports & hubs in device manager & restart windows so it can find new hardware & load it's drivers.
is that all in( Universal serial bus controllers)in device manager?..i remember reseting these along time ago when i had problems about year ago,think the problem has occured when i restored pc recent..will let you know when i try..cheers
