i have a Sharp 1080p lcd tv and am looking for an entry-level home theater system including an upscaling dvd player. should i be concerned whether the dvd player upscales to 1080p or 1080i? in theory, should i match 1080p upscaling with a 1080p tv?
You should match but only if the player's video processor is better than the TVs video processor. If it is then its worth it. Ced
