I need a guide that works,I do not want use a virtual drive,i wish to use the dvd disk. But my current 2142 disk is a crack and it's on it's last life and i need a backup before it cracks furthera dn stops reading. It has safedisk v4.7 if that helps. i had tried copying using blindwrite and auto mode,i also copied using alchohal but nothing works,everyime i play the game it says "please insert the disk" but it is in!!! all i know there is some files on the disk that has a code which it needs to run and it won't copy over.Is there anyway to get it to fully copy the disk,i think this is known as a RAW copy. So if anyone has done this or knows a way that works please help me...
i just used a no dvd crack for mine after i installed it. runs fine this way. i cant tell you where to get it, but i bet it wouldnt take long to find one with a little bit of searching.
