Keyboard sound effects with ventrilo

Sup all,

Looking for some help...trying to find a simple program that lets you play a sound effect with just a keyboard press, while I am talking on ventrilo or something of those lines. Mostly using it online gaming and stuff.

I have tried keyboard sounder, donaut, and scrampy. If anyone knows of any other program, it would be greatly appreciated.

Like I stated above, I already tried using keyboard sounder, but not able to assign a hot key for a particular sound effect. also tried using donaut and scrampy.
