Hi All, I have an AVI file with a size of 740MB. I would like to make a VCD of it, so I can Play it in my DVD player. I'm totally new in this business, so help it greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance,

Thanks a lot for the information and the fast reply. I have converted the file and are trying to split it up in 2 pieces using DVTool v0.53. My total file size was 856MB and I have splitted it in 2 parts, first one is 616MB and the second one 239MB. The first file I can play well and the duration is 1hour. When I try to play the second file, nothing happens at all and it shows the duration time of 1hr23min. I guess I did something wrong in the splitting. In the DVtool are 2 blue bars. When I slide the length, I see that in the bottom blue bar a line appears which the two sizes of the file. After that I just hit the start button. Can anybody tell me what went wrong.
