my xbox works fine when i boot holding the power button for longer than a sec, to boot without the x3ce chip. bit if i do boot with it, i see nothing, i hear nothing. whats going on? i clicked both buttons and im wondering, should i flash the bios? i got into this mess cause i was being dumb. i was in my auto installer deluxe, i use it to get to my xbox media center thing, so i clicked boot dashboard, drive f: like always. it turned dark like it does. then took like 5 mins so i turned it off. this leads me to said problems, any advice?

well, which partition its on really doesnt matter too much. it wont fit on some cache partitions though, it was on e, but then i didnt even have enough room to save games! so F works fine. but. how did me while booting a dashboard, turning off the system, make the xecuter 3 ce not exactly show anything. or give audio.

your partition does matter. it goes by your bios on your chip, if your bios says boot from F: then you install your files to the F: drive. Your bios determines everything, you probably want to flash it to a bios that boots from F: first.

get a flasher and make a data disc using nero and burn it to a cd or dvd and put it in your xbox and get your xbox into bios flash mode or whatever by pressing the eject and power button and holding them for a couple seconds and then it will let you pick from your cd. then flash the new bios on your disk.
