I have been going around the internet -and almost all the review sites rate 1 click at or near the top. A couple questions; 1. Do these sites get paid by them? 2. It seems like good stuff, but I have seen some complaints on the seperate CSS you must buy. 3. People like CLone DVD, but don't you need to have Nero or something else. I want a stand alone-adding a little decryptor doesn't bother me. WHat is the best in your opinion?
Please take what you read at all these "Review" sites with multiple grains of salt. The most useful copy programs for me are AnyDVD and CloneDVD2, both from Slysoft.
Thanks for the advice. The cloneDVD is something I am trying right this second. I don't know if it is 2 or not, is there a difference? I would imagine the one I downloaded (a trial)was the latest, but who knows. I don't mind spending $80 or less if it does it all in one. I know a lot of hackers want everything free -even the copy software, but I make enough I wont have to sacrifice my lifestyle over it.
Download these programs only from slysoft.com. There is currently a discount coupon toward the purchase.
Do you happen to know if there is a software program by which I could play from one DVD player and copy directly off of that? In other words where I do not have to download to hard drive first.
Copying on the fly is certainly possible with a number of programs. However, that said, few peple would recommend doing that due to the much higher probability of failure.
Really???? ive been useing clonedvd2 for almost 2 years now and copying on the fly 90% of the time and ahve never had a failure that wasnt my fault. and that was only a handful of times when i first started learning the dvd game
In my 3 years of DVD burning, nothing has been able to top CloneDVD/AnyDVD (they will rip and burn the DVD, no need to use Nero). Now these programs are not great if you need to do a lot of editing, but if you're just looking for DVD back-up jobs, then these programs are second to none. They are currently offering a 20% discount through the second week of august. Download them only from Slysofts' site.
if it's best quality you're after, dvd-rb with hc encoder by hanks (free and included with the dvd-rb installer), cce basic ($60 about the same quality as hc but faster), cce SP ($2,000 more bells and whistles), or procoder2 ($500). dvd-rb is free but for $30 you can upgrade to the pro version which includes more features and will do some editing although I still prefer dvdremake for editing over all else. you will need a stand alone ripping utility and burning utility although if you get the pro version it will let you automatically build an iso and burn with either dvd decrypter or imgburn which are both free burning apps. for anything requiring more than 20% compression, nothing will beat dvd-rb with an encoder of your choice.
