hi, I have been building computers for a little while now, and i decided today that I would offer people 4 choices of computer systems if they dont want to have a totally custom one. If you could look at the ones below and give me any ideas on what to change but keep the computers in the same price range (or lower) that would be great. If you would like to see the whole booklet i made then i need to send it as a word document.
looks good to me... To me it seams like the Extreme Performance Computer has alot of HDD space, maybe to much....
I think the extreme's Hard disk space is reasonable, I've filled 1300GB of my storage array, and I need to re-organise it soon! I think it should probably have 2 or 4GB of RAM though rather than 3GB, it'll probably run better that way. As for the performance computer, the 8500GT is ass, put a 7600GS or 7600GT in. Even the 7600GS beats the 8500GT senseless.
Don't I need a 64bit OS for that to show up? My plan was accually to put 4GBs of RAM in there, and just have 3 show up. I will look into that, but what if people want support for direct x 10?
Then it's gonna need to be an 8600GTS, I suggest doing that on request. Unlike previous generations, the 8000 series (well, the midrange cards anyway) are no faster than the previous version for the same number, i.e. an 8600GT is the same as a 7600GT, not faster.
