Well a couple of months ago, I had my IPod in my jeans, but was WASHED and stopped working ever since. Nothing works, it doesn't turn on or anything. And when I plug it into the USB ports, the IPod just flashes white for a couple seconds than disappears..anyone know what I can do to fix it??? THANKS!

Open the iPod (this is done bye lifting a sort of hinge in the connection port)
 Check for rust and water
Dry EVERYTHING with a soft silk cloth
Resist temptation to put it near a heat source such as the sun. This will damage the LCD
Close the iPod and plug it for 3 hours in the USB port.
After this time check you windows USB port manager
If the iPod is not there, then disconnect it
Once disconnected, hold MENU and the CENTRAL botton for 10 or more seconds
If nothing worked your iPod has offically reached the Apple heaven

Before giving up you should check for water. Water act like a circuit in electronic divices and thereby makes them mlfunktion.

Another tip is to leave you IPod OPEN in a breezy place.
