I would like to know how I can remove codecs and which codecs are needed which i then can reinstall a new. The purpose is that I was told by a support staff for aprogram I am running to remove the codex tehh install one at a time to trouble shoot the problem so I need to know how to do that. I removed the codecs using instructions found on the web:control panel; sounds and audio devices;hardware; video codex properties then choose "remove". I chose the different codex and "removed" but when I look back at the properties they are still there. I did not delete any .dll or .drv files. Any suggetsions?
thanks I have that pack and would like to install it but need to remove my other codecs for a clean install.
