I have had a Sceptre LCD monitor for about six monthes. I dontknow if that is a known brand, hell I brought it at Walk-Mart. It's worked fine until this morning when nothing would show up on the screen. When i turned the computer and monitor on the monitors on like just flashed. When I messed with the buttons the on button flashed red. I took the monitor off and put my roommates monitor on and it worked. When i turned the (2nd) monitor on, it said it was autoadjusting the settings and eventually worked. I changed the resolution of my computer to a lower setting, which were under the resolution of the monitor (1280x1024) hooks MY monitor up and no change. Then i hooked up the 2nd monitor which worked right away. I then restored my computer to several weeks before and hooked up my monitor again, no change. Im at a loss. I hooked my monitor up to my laptop with no change. I hooked my monitor up to my room mates computer with no change. Any help or advice wouldbe appreciated.
I am going to try and reload the drivers for my monitor. and check all the connections and voltage... although i dont remember changing everything and it worked with another monitor...
I think you need to return the monitor for a replacement under warranty. Sceptre monitors are usually good, but problems sometimes happen.
yeh well unfortunately, i need a workingmonitor like NOW... I'm gonna go out and buy another one and see if i can get this one fixed. Thanks
