Yeah, don't get the 8500 GT. I'm guessing you would want to play games, so tell us what kind of games you play and we could find you a card that meets your needs.

^^agreed. I play batllefield 2142 with settings on high and at max res with a 7600GT pci-e.

you may need an AGP model though, just check what you have

If he was buying a PCI-E 8500 GT then why would he need an AGP card?

Because his PC only has an AGP slot, not a PCI express one.

Well, why is it a problem? Newegg ship to the US, but US only. Don't recall whether they ship to canada or not.

No, Newegg don't ship to europe. I believe you can phone Tigerdirect to do it. Which country is he in? I'm sure I can find some equivalent stores.

Nope abuzar Newegg doesnt ship to Ireland or Europe for that matter...its a real bummer! Im afraid anything i order will have to be from that "Komplett" site! btw thaks for all the help guys keep it coming! Does the fact my computer came with a fx5200 defo make it only AGP compatible?? Is this a disadvantage? Are AGP graphic cards easy to install? Im not that bad wit installing Pc parts you know like putting in DVD drives and ram and whatnot..but never a Video card

Almost certainly, you may need to check in case it's PCI only, who built it?

If it's AGP the slot looks like the brown one. PCI if it looks like the white ones.
