Trying to convert AVI to ..well, anything and I can never get the audio and VId to synch. Now trying Vegas 4 but when it appears to be doing something with the avi file to do with "peaks" it tells me it has had an error when opening a codec. I can still convert the file but audio/vid are way out. This seems to be a constant theme with any package I have tried. (File is in 23.97fps format and I am trying to convert to 25fps). Do I have the wrong codec? Where can I find new ones and where do I load them? Thank you.
Now this is interesting. I just tied Cucusoft demo (1min only) and the sound and vid seem perfect on an AVI-SVCD disk. Should I try the full version?
