Is something wrong with my Gamecube?

I had just replaced a game of mine that just wouldn't play cause it kept saying that my gamecube couldn't read the disk,but when I put in the new game in it,it still said it couldn't read the disk,eventhough the new disc was clean and had no scratches on it..
Is something wrong with my gamecube or is it just the game itself?

 

you might want to send it in to nintedno. its free, your laser might be messed up.
