I play TRUE COMBAT ELITE and when I do know My PING is CRAZY HIGH about 200-500. I did a speedtest.net and run on avg 40-60 ping and 9870 kbps down and 890 kbps up. WHY is this happening to me this is the same on different servers some better some worse, but about the same. I have extreme cable internet now....but when I had DSL I never had a problem I was usually one of the lowest ping's with them. I would appreciate any direction any could give me THANKS LiLBuCK
Your ping is not really affected by your internet at all. Your ping is the time it takes for you computer to "ask" the server a question and to get a response from that server. A high ping means you either picked a A)server way far away from you or B)A server that while near/far from you is underpowered and can't take the stress.
